It all began in March 2014 when a group of like-minded individuals got together to discuss setting up a food
rescue organisation in North Canterbury. From this Satisfy Food Rescue was born. We are all passionate
about reducing food wastage and making healthy food available to everyone.

Satisfy Food Rescue is committed to making a difference by recognising and meeting needs in the Waimakariri
and Hurunui districts. Satisfy is dedicated to productivity and sustainability, in all its forms, by effectively utilising
time and resources and employing good manageable systems and goals.
Satisfy Food Rescue is intent on being contactable and available so that communication and action are timely
and appropriate. Great communication plus community engagement and involvement are our priority.
Satisfy Food Rescue honours culture and diversity, showing respect and care to all, from all walks of life. We
